A man was arrested in Ratchathewi District on charges of possessing more than 100,000 items of fake brand-name clothing with intent to sell.

Police arrested Charoensak Pansatitwong, 40, on Friday and confiscated 10 million baht worth of fake brand-name clothing at a building in Soi Bunprarop on Rajaprarop Road.  The building has long been used as a warehouse for producing fake clothing, most of which were to be sold in the Pratunam area and exported to South Africa, Cambodia, and Malaysia.

The police raid was made under a search warrant authorized by the Central Intellectual Property and International Trade Court.

Police took Charoensak Pansatitwong, 40, into custody on Friday and confiscated 10 million baht's worth of fake brand-name clothing at a building in Soi Bunprarop on Rajaprarop Road. The building has been used as a fake clothing factory for some time. Most of the products were to be sold at Pratunam and exported to South Africa, Cambodia, and Malaysia.
