Divide students into groups of three. 2. Have each group find a biography of a famous person. 3. Divide up the biographies and give each student a part. 4. Have students read their part of the text and write a short summary of the essential biographical information Help students with the language and encourage them not to copy from the text. Marilyn Monroe was born on June 1, 1926 in

Angeles. She was brought up in twelve different

families. She acted in several films between

and 1955 and was named by Italian critics as
"the
best foreign actress of 1958." Marilyn had an
unhappy
married life. She died at her home in L.A.
from
an overdose of sleeping pills in August 1962.
