Wednesday, February 28, 2007: Final Exam, 8:30-10:30 a.m. at BRK 304.  There will be two parts: I (30 points on an unseen poem), II (50 points on poems and topics in the coursebook since the midterm, includes the section on irony).  These Pointers for Taking Essay Tests might be helpful in preparing for the exam.

Due Friday, February 16, 2007: Final Paper (I'm willing to look at drafts and comment on them. You're welcome to schedule an appointment or come by during office hours to discuss your group presentation, your individual recital piece, or any other matter of concern. See sample student paper.)

Due Wednesday, February 14, 2007: Assignment 4.  There's been a change of plans. Assignment 4 will be given in class on Wednesday (Feb. 7) instead of Friday (Feb. 2). However, do check back here in the next few days as I will be posting suggested answers to Assignment 2 and the midterm here and Acharn Supakarn will be handing out suggested answers to Assignment 3 next week.

Due Wednesday, January 31, 2007: suggested prose paraphrase of Christina Rosetti's "Remember" and the Cavendish poems we've already done. (Note that there is a link to a paraphrase of Pound's "In a Station of the Metro" as well in the Nov. 8 section, and to one of Jonson's "Oak and Lily" in the Jan. 3 section)
